Virginia Beach brunch splits three ways: the hotel dining rooms on the north end of the Oceanfront, the breakfast cottages and surf bars on the numbered streets, and the neighborhood spots at Hilltop, Great Neck and Town Center. Here is who serves it and when, from the restaurants’ own pages.

At the Oceanfront

Becca Restaurant & Garden, Historic Cavalier Hotel, 4200 Atlantic Ave., 757-425-8555. The Cavalier’s main dining room serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, with seats in the sunroom, the formal dining room or on the patio, according to the Cavalier Resort.

Orion’s Roof, Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront, 4201 Atlantic Ave., 757-937-4200. The rooftop restaurant, 183 feet above the ocean, serves lunch, dinner, late night and weekend brunch, the resort says.

Waterman’s Surfside Grille, 415 Atlantic Ave., 757-428-3644. The Boardwalk restaurant runs a Sunday brunch menu and opens at 9 a.m. on Sundays (11 a.m. the rest of the week), according to its site.

Doc Taylor’s, 207 23rd St., 757-425-1960. A breakfast-and-lunch spot next door to its sister restaurant, Tautog’s, serving either meal whenever it is open: Friday through Monday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., year-round, closed Tuesday through Thursday. The menu leans on egg breakfasts and the house sandwich of fried egg, bacon, cheese and grilled Parmesan tomatoes, per Doc Taylor’s.

Croc’s 19th Street Bistro, 620 19th St., 757-428-5444. Open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays, when its site promotes a Sunday drag brunch; it takes reservations through OpenTable, per Croc’s.

Hilltop and Great Neck

No Frill Bar & Grill, 1620 Laskin Road (Hilltop North Shopping Center), 757-425-2900. “Open at 11 every Sunday for Sunday brunch,” the restaurant says; regular hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, per No Frill.

Citrus Cafe, 357 N. Great Neck Road, 757-222-9555. A breakfast and brunch restaurant open every day, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the grill closes at 2:45 p.m., per Citrus.

Town Center

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar, Town Center of Virginia Beach, 757-264-4808. Opens at 8 a.m. daily; open until 8 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 9 p.m. Saturday, per Tupelo Honey. Street and garage parking nearby.
