A Virginia Beach date night tends to happen in one of two places: the Oceanfront, where the old hotels and the 19th and 23rd street restaurants are a short walk from the Boardwalk, or Town Center, where the theaters, classes and bars sit around free garages. Here is where to eat, what to see and what stays open late.
Before you go
- Town Center parking is free; Resort Area meters and city lots are mostly free Nov. 1 to March 31.
- Zoës and Tautog’s each close two nights a week; check the days below.
