Wing shops in Virginia Beach sit mostly in strip centers on the big commuter roads: Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach Boulevard, Princess Anne Road, Holland Road and Ferrell Parkway in Salem. Most are counter-service takeout shops; The Dirty Buffalo and Buffalo Wild Wings are sit-down sports bars.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Virginia Beach’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 19, 2026. Few wing shops here have a working site of their own, so we also searched the Virginia Department of Health’s food inspection records and kept every wing shop with a Virginia Beach inspection in the past 12 months; those rows give the address the state records and say so. Wing King’s site blocked our requests, and the Wings-Go site we found belongs to its Newport News shop. Hooters, listed in OpenStreetMap on General Booth Boulevard, has no recent inspection record, so we left it out. The list is alphabetical. America’s Best Wings has two Virginia Beach shops in the state’s inspection records, on Ferrell Parkway in Salem and on North Mall Drive near Lynnhaven Mall. Neither has a site of its own that we could find.
America’s Greatest Wings, Gyro & Pizza on Oceana Boulevard near Naval Air Station Oceana was inspected by the state in April 2026.
American Wild Wings on Indian River Road was inspected in August 2026.
ATL Wings is in the shopping center at 3877 Holland Road. State records show a February 2026 inspection.
Atomic Wings is the Virginia Beach shop of a national wing chain. Its site says to place orders online only.
Buffalo Wild Wings on Princess Anne Road is the national sports-bar chain’s Virginia Beach restaurant in the state’s records.
The Dirty Buffalo on South Independence Boulevard opened in 2019, its site says. It is a wing bar with 52 flavors, a game room, a full bar, outdoor seating, takeout and delivery, and a “Wing Wednesday” deal from 5 to 9 p.m.
